Requirements

7+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with system integration in multiple avionics lab settings for development, integration, and testing
Experience performing sof tware requirements development and verification met hods, including review of requirement documents, sof tware documents, DOORS, Agile, test and evaluation, or airworthiness certification
Experience leading discussions for sof tware avionic platforms, subsystems, and line replacement units during project planning and review sessions, and in informal interactions with clients or outside agencies
Ability to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for an aircraft modification program
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with avionics and aircraft weapon s in multiple avionics lab settings for integration and testing
Experience creating or reviewing safety-critical items for compliance with applicable policies , regulations, and procedures
Experience recommending corrective action, as needed
Experience with engineering review and analysis of weapon system contractor proposals and technical documentation in support of the DoD aircraft, avionic, and sof tware systems
Experience providing inputs and recommendations for programmatic, engineering, and test briefings, planning efforts, execution, documentation activities, and reviews
Knowledge of aircraft systems and subsystems to identify and assess form, fit, and function capab ilities
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies , procedures, and processes
Top Secret clearance
