Role Description: We are continuing development of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). EADSIM is a simulation of air, missile and space warfare. EADSIM incorporates use-driven capabilities with a proven, rapid-response capability to develop and support the model to meet evolving user needs. The broad gamut of battlefield technologies and interactions of those technologies makes the tool a rich environment for evaluating new technologies. Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems. Specifies functional requirements, designs solutions, tests system/components, analyzes designs, and integrates components. Evaluates overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Develops software solutions for modeling and simulations tools used in the DoD. Provide full life cycle support and object oriented design and development techniques.

Requirements

• Clearance Level: Secret
• Education: Bachelors degree of science in engineering or scientific field of study.
• Experience: Mid-level: Five (5) years of experience in progressively more complex work experience in engineering or scientific discipline.
• Senior-level: Fifteen (15) years of experience in progressively more complex work experience in engineering or scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of: Unix/Ultrix, HP-UX, SUN-OS, VAX/CMS, Harris VOS C, C++, ADA, FORTRAN
• Gitlab and JIRA

Responsibilities

• Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems.
• Specifies functional requirements, designs solutions, tests system/components, analyzes designs, and integrates components.
• Evaluates overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Develops software solutions for modeling and simulations tools used in the DoD.
• Provide full life cycle support and object oriented design and development techniques.
