Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what 'mobility' means and how it serves society. Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

  • Collaborate across various teams, including product, program management, and software, to support the roadmap for launching AD/ADAS systems
  • Develop software requirements for system-level and lower-level subsystems (e.g., sensor, Human Machine Interface, compute)
  • Contribute to the creation of system latency budgets based on scenario analysis
  • Assist in generating evaluation systems for assessing system performance against product-level Key Performance Indicators
  • Support the definition of system and sub-system level architecture
  • Perform functional safety analysis
  • Actively participate in cross-functional technical design reviews
  • Help define and support systems verification and validation testing
  • 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in system development or a related field
  • Master’s degree in one of the following fields: mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or related disciplines
  • Familiarity with developing systems using remote sensing technology, Artificial Intelligence, or Controls for safety-critical applications
  • Experience in an automotive production environment
  • Solid understanding of transforming high-level product requirements into architecture, including requirement decomposition and ensuring end-to-end traceability
  • Exposure to engineering analysis or trade studies of systems covering perception, electronics, mechanical components, controls, or safety
  • Experience in verification and validation testing for systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
  • Experience in requirement derivation, tracking, and verification test processes (V diagram) in automotive applications
  • Understanding of typical vehicle communication protocols/interfaces
  • Experience in systems integration, vehicle testing, functional safety, and vehicle launch
  • Software coding skills (e.g., Matlab, Python, or C/C++)
  • Excellent health, wellness, dental and vision coverage
  • A rewarding 401k program
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Family planning and care benefits
