About the position

Horizon Farm Credit is actively seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join our Farm Credit EXPRESS team. Qualified candidates may work in the Mount Joy, PA or Shoemakersville, PA branch location. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with a passion for providing outstanding customer service and support. In this position, you'll support our FCE Relationship Managers and dealerships, ensuring efficient deal closures and exceptional customer experience. Drive new business development, oversee quality controls, and foster a collaborative team environment. Promote cross-departmental integration and cross-selling strategies to elevate our Farm Credit EXPRESS program. Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding internal and external customer service to our FCE Relationship Managers, Horizon Farm Credit Primary Contacts, and Farm Credit EXPRESS Dealerships.
  • Create and present training to new dealerships and salespeople as they are onboarded. Develop ongoing training opportunities as needed.
  • Support respective Associations, FCE Relationship Managers, and the FCE Processing Team in closing deals efficiently, providing an exceptional dealership and borrower experience.
  • Assist with the dealer agreement process, ensuring accurate identification of authorized signers and proper document vaulting.
  • Closely monitor rate locks and pending applications to ensure efficient closings and exceptional customer experience for dealerships and borrowers.
  • Promptly and professionally respond to email communication and phone calls. Investigate and resolve customer problems.
  • Continually provide feedback to management on new product offerings to better serve the District.
  • Ensure compliance with association policies and procedures as they relate to the Business Services function.
  • Promote cross-departmental integration and cross-selling strategies to elevate our Business Services.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance.
  • Generally, four to eight years' experience in a sales or lending environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively navigate sensitive conversations.
  • Knowledge of financial databases, spreadsheet applications, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be collaborative and the ability to develop and work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision and proven self-starter.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as required, including meeting with customers, prospects, and referral generators.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
