About The Position

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to Yardi software. Responds to queries, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Prior experience with Yardi is required. Applicants must be able to work West Coast business hours.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi software.
  • Experience in a Support role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to create and make presentations to team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database management programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in property management software (Yardi) and other computer applications.
  • Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an information systems or computer background.
  • Proficiency in project management skills to create project plans, track and monitor progress, and oversee project implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience in apartment community operation sufficient to understand the processes and procedures relative to the use of computer applications.
  • College degree in information systems, education/training, or related field, and/or equivalent experience within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provides help desk support for incoming queries by troubleshooting and responding to user requests and questions.
  • Researches and corrects systems problems, and follows up with end users to ensure satisfaction resolution of systems-related issues.
  • Collaborates with Accounting, Operations and Training departments to ensure the successful support of software systems.
  • Responds to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Provides customer service by walking customers through the problem-solving process and follows up to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Gains feedback from customers about software systems.
  • Assists software training team with training manuals, examples, or job aids as needed.
  • Assists on take-over and transition teams for newly-acquired properties by setting up new users for systems access.
  • Participates in the development, testing, and training of software and application enhancements.
  • Works with third-party vendors, contractors, and other business partners to support training or system maintenance needs.
  • Provides client and customer service by providing reports, demonstrating systems software, and participating in client/owner presentations as needed.
