Business Systems and Consultants (BSC) is a regional leader in providing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and scanning services, established in 1976. The company has a rich history of serving various industries and applications, delivering business process automation and document management applications that enhance organizational efficiency by connecting users with the information they need. The Software Sales/Technology Representative role is primarily focused on business-to-business sales, where the representative will be responsible for growing both new and existing accounts. The position requires the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of BSC's solutions and services. A sound understanding of clients' current challenges, workflows, and the key drivers behind their need for improvement is essential. The representative will be tasked with planning and executing a territory/sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue targets set by sales management. In this role, the representative will develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities. This includes coordinating consistent prospect meetings through various methods such as cold calling, tele prospecting, attending industry networking events, proposal generation, and sales presentations. The use of Goldmine software to manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects, and document notes on competitors and proposals sent is also a key responsibility. Weekly reports will be provided to the sales manager, detailing feedback on the sales plan and closing opportunities for the current month, along with a quarterly review of the sales plan and pipeline.
