About the position
The Software Quality Testing Specialist at Berryville Holdings, LLC plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products. This position involves collaborating with the development team to test new software and patches, as well as providing internal technical support and assistance. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining internal environments and monitoring applications to resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Working with the development team to test software
- Maintaining internal environments
- Actively monitoring production and development applications
- Resolving issues within your purview and escalating them when outside it
- Reporting bugs and user experience issues
- Internal help desk functions (web-based chat, help desk tickets, phone calls, fulfilling order requests, turning things off and on again, and more!)
- Install and support BVH technology (Physical Servers, cloud servers, embedded device, network equipment)
- Regularly install and operate our software product and report its quality to developers
- Set up and operate all aspects of the product
- Troubleshoot general hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and support office technology (Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, A/V, network equipment)
- Catalog and organize all lab equipment and IT inventory
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Science, or related field or 1-year related experience
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and punctuality
- Fluent, easily understandable English
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Honest, reliable, proactive, possessing a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well with others
