Drive a quality first approach to software development and delivery. Manage a small QA team while effectively solving problems that cross product, functional and geographical boundaries. Lead the quality and testing efforts across multiple IoT teams. Ensure quality and testing best practices are being followed. Provide technical direction and leadership to QA teams. Ensure employees have a solid understanding of overall strategy. Establish metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and products. Help implement new automation frameworks, taking ownership of automation tests and QA processes. Evangelize best practices and processes, coaching other SDETs and software engineers to elevate the overall technical quality and maturity. Continuously improve quality assurance processes and standards across both development and QA. Champion learning, growth, engagement, and continuous improvement for yourself and other SDETs on the team. Set the standard for authentic communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Eight (8) years of progressive experience in software testing.
  • Experience with modern test automation.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience implementing software QA principles and practices.
  • Experience creating and maintaining new automation frameworks.
  • Experience with API Testing.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Experience with Mobile Testing.
  • Experience with Microservices.
  • Experience with SpecFlow.
  • Experience with Appium.
  • Experience with XUnit.
  • Experience with Jest.
  • Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
  • Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $131,000 - $161,000
