About The Position

XSITE LLC is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer/System Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs. This individual will have strong test automation and systems analyst experience to ensure continued reliability, accuracy, and performance of the application. We are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company headquartered in San Diego. We provide full spectrum systems and systems-of-systems engineering and integration services and solutions for space, C5ISR, cyber and enterprise information systems. XSITE LLC has been awarded a sustainment contract for a dedicated Modeling and Simulation software application supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC). This application provides critical predictive information to SATCOM System Experts, RSSCs, and CCMD J6’s to make informed communication planning decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • 1-4years of experience in the software testing or quality assurance role
  • Active U.S. Secret Clearance preferred; ability to obtain required
  • Expertise testing web based single page apps (React Js)
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Experience with multi-tier architecture
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing and evaluation of detailed computational models
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Security Plus Certification
  • Experience performing systems analysis or systems engineering activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and procedures for existing and newly developed software components
  • Design, implement, and execute automated and manual test suites, including functional, integration, and regression testing, with supporting test reports and metrics
  • Evaluate completed user stories and system features to ensure compliance with functional, performance, and quality requirements
  • Perform systems analysis to understand requirements, interfaces, workflows, and system dependencies
  • Analyze and validate outputs from computational engineering and modeling simulations to ensure accuracy and traceability to requirements
  • Document, track, and manage defects and test results using Azure DevOps
  • Review and validate technical and system documentation to ensure alignment with implemented software
  • Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and verify implementation
  • Support requirement changes, impact assessments, and sustainment activities
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing and automation processes
