About The Position
Shearwater Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester with a Secret Clearance to support the Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. This position is open to candidates at all levels, including Senior, Journeyman, and Junior levels. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes, ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases. In this role, you will execute software testing strategies for all phases of the Cargo and Personnel Movement Family of Systems' software releases. For Junior level positions, you will ensure that each release integrates and is compatible with existing SDC platforms. For Journeyman and Senior levels, you will plan, coordinate, and execute software testing strategies, including collaboration with designated individuals to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. You will also be responsible for producing and assisting with all required test plans, reports, user documentation, and conducting reviews following each test phase. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will establish and follow a test automation strategy to automate the highest percentage of tests feasible and practicable within unit, functional, regression, and security tests. You will also ensure database integrity during testing, including database generation and reset when necessary to support automation. This position requires a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing tools, particularly in AWS and Azure Cloud environments, as well as familiarity with Agile DevSecOps concepts and methodologies.
