This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing scalable automated test frameworks, building sophisticated UI tests, and ensuring product quality through a mix of automated and manual testing. This role is located onsite in Huntsville, AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.

Requirements

Proven experience testing desktop and mobile applications in a professional environment.
Strong proficiency with automated testing tools.
Proficient in scripting languages used for automation and UI test creation, including JavaScript, Python, VBScript, JScript, DelphiScript, C#, and C++.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and software development lifecycles.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and think critically about edge cases.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to handle multiple priority and changes in priorities in an everchanging environment.
Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
Learns and memories routine tasks.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks for desktop and mobile applications.
Create new UI tests using scripting languages to support robust automation coverage.
Execute, refine, and troubleshoot automated test scripts for regression, functional, and integration testing.
Perform manual testing when needed to validate new features, edge cases, and exploratory scenarios.
Collaborate closely with software developers to understand requirements and ensure high‑quality releases.
Identify, document, and track defects using standard issue‑tracking tools.
Analyze test results, generate clear reports, and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation strategies, and best practices.
Participate in sprint planning, standups, and release readiness activities.
