This is a project-based employee role supporting the initial development phase of our autonomous vehicle platforms. Development phases of this nature typically span up to approximately 24 months, though scope and duration are driven by business needs. Summary As a Software QA Engineer at ASI, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our autonomous software through extensive testing and analysis. You will work closely with your team in a scrum environment and help identify and resolve defects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Software QA Testing, or other related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Proficiency in test case management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in teamwork and individual accountability.
  • Experience in Agile software development.
  • Willing and eager to learn Linux operating system and proprietary software installation and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and design appropriate test plans and strategies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and documentation.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software meets functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing and work with project teams to resolve them.
  • Conduct user-acceptance testing as software is ready for release.
  • Participate in scrum meetings and provide quality updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance the overall quality of our software products.
  • Execute tests in the lab, on the vehicle, and in field test environments.
