We are looking for Software QA Engineer II to join our Engineering QA team Tacoma, WA, Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA, reporting to the senior manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology for DNS security products, exposure to Kubernetes & Cloud technologies, and be involved in functional QA, QA automation and test framework enhancement.   • Work closely with software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle and be an integral part of the DDI products Agile Engineering team
  • Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced continuous integration and continuous delivery-based engineering environment
  • Assist in developing our Cloud strategy, and design new Cloud environments and architecture
  • Build Cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks for deploying, managing, and monitoring SaaS applications running on AWS
  • Anticipate future technology needs and business requirements to drive new technological approaches and tools
  • This role requires US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
  • Minimum 5+ years of overall experience
  • Experience with Python - Selenium and Requests Packages, boto3, Pytest, SSH protocol packages, and/or Kubernetes API
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum or full software development life cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and defect fixing
  • Experience in testing, including web-based UI applications, Restful services, AWS, and Docker apps
  • DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) experience is ideal
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and general networking concepts
  • Work experience with Linux - Shell
  • Good understanding of networking, including OSI model, DNS, OSPF, BGPD, etc.
  • Work experience with Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of micro-services architecture and orchestrators such as Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience in performance testing using various tools (Jmeter, IXIA, in-house tools) and the ability to write tools
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE or EE is required
  • Masters in CS, CE or EE is preferred
