The Software QA Engineer II creates and maintains automated test suites. This position focuses on building automation to test the product, prevent defects, and improve quality. the Software QA Engineer II works with minimal supervision and has a solid understanding of the products’ business domain. In addition, this position contributes to improvements in the overall quality assurance process.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with programming, preferably C# and Java.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools, preferably Playwright.
  • Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Good time management skills to plan and organize own work.
  • Interest in AI development tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites.
  • Work effectively to define testable user stories, especially acceptance criteria with Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Create, design, and execute test strategies, including writing test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
  • Evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality.
  • Respond to change quickly, including changing, adding, or improving automated tests.
  • Works closely with developers to solve problems and improve QA strategies.
  • Is a resource for onboarding new team members.
  • Ensures proper use of automated testing tools and look for ways to improve processes.
