About The Position

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Software Project Manager to help deliver our next generation of commerce tools. Working with colleagues across the organization (including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales Operations), this role will be responsible for shepherding projects through the software development life cycle. In this role, you will oversee and track multiple software projects from start to finish; define and manage project status, milestones and deliverables; coordinate activities of project participants; represent team and stakeholder interests; and communicate among team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Remote work within the U.S. will be considered for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, any discipline, with relevant experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing customer-facing software projects
  • Successfully managed engineering deliverables for multiple enterprise-scale software development projects from the concept stage to launch into production
  • Experience with large-scale/integrated e-commerce projects
  • Experience managing cloud-based software projects
  • Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or similar ability to interact with and influence stakeholders in cross-functional teams
  • Analytical, attentive and purposeful
  • Solid decision-making ability - You have the drive, focus and time management skills to get challenging projects over the finish line
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills -- you are comfortable communicating with and among internal customers, technical teams and management to understand proposed software requirements, goals and objectives; explain problems and potential solutions; and deliver project updates
  • You are comfortable advocating for what you need to do your best work
  • You are eager to solve unique e-commerce problems in the biotech space
  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
  • Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, BigCommerce
  • Experience with EDI, hosted catalogs, punchout procurement systems

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and drive timelines and plans to keep projects on schedule
  • Identify and manage project risks, metrics, and entry/exit criteria
  • Ensure relevant project milestones and deliverables are met, and that activities are well executed and run
  • Develop cross-functional relationships; communicate requirements and dependencies; shepherd key deliverables and milestones among contributors
  • Organize, conduct and document project meetings
  • Communicate status updates, issues, and outcomes to contributors and stakeholders
