About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Software Product Manager III to join our team in Iselin, NJ! (This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship). Work Schedule: Daytime business hours; Monday through Friday. This position offers a Hybrid work model with on-site presence required in Iselin, NJ as deemed necessary by the business for training and meetings. Job Responsibilities: The Software Product Manager III is the Laboratory LIMS and Reporting Software Product owner for shipping features, enhancing requests, Tier 1 support, troubleshooting bugs, and tracking dependencies. Including triaging issues, prioritizing tasks, driving improvements, designing features, drafting requirements/KPIs, performing user acceptance testing, representing feature teams, and defining business impact and priorities. Drive end‑to-end execution of scientific programs: Manage timelines, milestones, risk mitigation, and cross‑team dependencies for multiple programs. Partner closely with bioinformaticians, data scientists, clinical informaticians, software engineers, and other teams across the S2A platform to translate scientific goals into actionable development plans and ensure smooth delivery across the pipeline lifecycle. Be a "go-to" expert, champion, and advocate for the product, with a clear understanding of the existing value of the systems and proactive ideas for how they can continue to evolve Manages work-items to ship features that have dependencies Runs down bugs and understands short term and long-term investments with engineering on how to resolve the problem Gathers end user requirements during initial project scoping and during ongoing use of the system. Defines Business impact & prioritize appropriately Supports the laboratories with change management process and QA processes by facilitating documentation related to deployment checklists, validations, production UAT tests, release notes and training Represents the team with internal and external stakeholders without supervision Can troubleshoot and triage issues with accurate judgment and accurate urgency Able to prioritize appropriately based on business impact/needs Makes sound feature design decisions and can justify why and the trade-offs.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience with LIMS, LIS, ELN, or SDMS laboratory software, software product troubleshooting with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for technology products, with a clear understanding of current states and future needs.
  • Ability to make sound strategic decisions around internal and 3rd party technology products.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, leading to successful product outcomes, establishing high trust relationships with open communication.
  • Experience leading and motivating empowered product management teams with a clear focus on delivering business value.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing verification and validation documentation for bioinformatics software, algorithm updates, and pipeline releases
  • Ability to carefully trade-off ease of use and medical and or legal constraints with impact to good users by leveraging various types of mitigations
  • Ability to execute with strength and envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there
  • Strong cross-customer collaboration harmonizes strategies and needs of multiple customers, influences customer strategy and plans
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication ability to a diverse stakeholder audience
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years or more experience with Laboratory LIMS software product management with a Master's degree.
  • 1 or more years of experience with Enterprise LIMS, HealthTech, SaaS.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a clinical testing laboratory or diagnostics in software development life cycle or lab bench.
