About The Position

The Software Pedigree Manager is responsible for overseeing change control processes, facilitating reviews, and monitoring vehicle pedigree and test readiness. This long-term contract position requires interaction with engineering teams and program teams to ensure timely updates and coordination of build activities during prototype builds.

Requirements

• Experience in change control processes
• Strong understanding of engineering CAD documents
• Ability to interact effectively with engineering and program teams
• Experience in managing prototype builds and vehicle pedigree tracking

Responsibilities

• Monitor change control processes
• Facilitate review at VPAT
• Monitor PCN meetings and track known updates
• Create a presence within build activities during prototype builds
• Determine optimal update plan and schedule updates accordingly
• Track vehicle pedigree and test readiness
• Work with program teams to lead small builds (model year changeovers)
• Interact with engineering community to understand updates and their benefits
• Determine impact of part modifications on other areas of the vehicle
• Review illustrations and engineering CAD documents to ensure all impacted parts are identified
• Lead durability prototype updates and coordinate signoff
• Conduct bill of material analysis
• Interact with Team Lead, Parts Ordering Specialist, and Garage Coordination Specialist to ensure needs are met in a timely manner
