About The Position

The Software Network Integration Lead will support NAVAIR’s PMA-262 and the MQ-4C Triton Integrated Test Team (ITT). This role involves coordinating and executing software and network integration, ensuring proper configuration, testing, and system functionality across Triton program assets. You’ll apply your expertise in systems and network integration within a high-paced, lab-based environment to ensure flawless connectivity and performance across the Triton enterprise. The position is based at NAS Patuxent River, MD. This description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of related experience, with at least 3 years supporting a DoD or NAVAIR program (preferred).
  • Network+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Proven ability to manage complex network integration efforts in secure, mission-critical environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently.
  • Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Position may require a CI polygraph, but this is not required to start. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Network/NetConfig roadmaps for all software products, including PPSM updates and aircraft IP file development.
  • Plan, prepare, and review all network configuration artifacts to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with Platform CYBER teams on external connectivity requirements and security compliance.
  • Coordinate with PMA Mission Systems to align network updates with fleet operational needs.
  • Serve as the lead subject matter expert (SME) for network software issues, troubleshooting, and NATOPS input development.
  • Partner with Configuration Management (CM) to maintain Hardware/Software Configuration Matrices (HSCMs).
  • Work with the Software Support Activity (SSA) to update and maintain the System Administrator Manual (SAM).
  • Lead and execute network integration and test efforts in both lab and live test environments.
