About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Software Manager will drive the team to meet key project delivery deadlines while ensuring coding is effective, accurate and efficient within established platforms. Teams will be working on both development of new software as well as working to enhance or redesign prior software. The role involves working closely with key stakeholders to collaborate on software that affects the effectiveness of the equipment manufactured. Additionally, the Software Manager will work closely with the global software team to align efforts to collaborate on effective solutions for developer issues. As a Software Manager, you will provide mentoring and guidance to the team for development and onboarding, and work on effectively resolving customer escalations.

Requirements

• Master's in Computer Science or related field or Bachelor's with equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 1+ years in a leadership capacity.
• 1+ years in manufacturing and capital equipment manufacturing.
• Ability to drive performance of a team to meet deadlines.
• C, C++ programming skills with strong demonstrated proficiency at key software developer concepts.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
• Strong collaboration skills both within the team and with key business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
