About The Position

CNA is seeking a Software Java Developer with expertise in React.js, Hibernate, and GCP to analyze client requirements and develop automated solutions. The role involves designing and developing business applications, ensuring quality through code reviews, and collaborating with clients to resolve system issues. The developer will also research alternative solutions and support the implementation of applications into production environments.

Requirements

• Solid technical knowledge of high-level programming languages, databases, and application program development alternatives.
• Broad knowledge of the system development life cycle and application program development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and clients.
• Experience as a full stack developer with React and NodeJS for front-end and Java for back-end development.
• Working experience with JDK 17+ and knowledge of the Spring ecosystem.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Cloud Native patterns including Enterprise Integration Patterns and Event Driven Architecture.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Preferred knowledge in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client area requirements and processes to develop application program solutions.
• Perform code reviews, create documentation, and implement code to ensure quality of application solutions.
• Participate in systems testing with other IT staff and assist with high-level design of solutions.
• Consult with clients to analyze system requirements and capabilities, identifying risks and resolving problems.
• Research and evaluate new solutions, recommending efficient and cost-effective options for system design.
• Support the implementation of applications into production and testing environments.
