We are seeking a Design & Front-End Support Intern who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in a real-world software development environment. This internship is ideal for a design- or technology-focused student looking to grow their skills in web design, front-end development, and visual communication while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
As an intern at TOPS Products, you will work closely with designers, developers, and product team members to support the creation, improvement, and testing of user-facing software experiences.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a design, web development, or related program (Associate or Bachelor level).
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS; introductory JavaScript experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma.
• Understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, and color.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Interest in software, technology, and user experience design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with web and UI design tasks, including layout, typography, and visual refinement.
• Help maintain and improve responsive design layouts for web-based applications.
• Create and update visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
• Participate in reviewing designs and interfaces to ensure usability, clarity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with developers and product team members to understand requirements and translate them into effective visual and front-end solutions.
• Gain exposure to software testing and quality review, helping identify UI or layout issues before release.
• Learn and follow best practices for working in an Agile development environment.
