Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for an Integration & Test Engineer - SW Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This position, based in Colorado Springs, CO, plays a crucial role in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position, and this role requires on-site work with no remote options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a master's degree in a STEM discipline; or 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Applicants must possess a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
  • Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needs
  • Applicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
  • Understanding of the Agile processes
  • Experience with operating systems Windows, Linux, and/or Unix
  • Experience with hardware and software systems
  • Experience with software development, application development, data management, cybersecurity, and network administration

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Java, R, MATLAB, HTML, and C++ software development

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other IT resources
  • Assisting with IT troubleshooting issues and delivering technical support as needed
  • Contributing to IT resources, cybersecurity, and data management activities
