Requirements

Proven experience in backend or full-stack software development with large datasets.
Strong skills in Python, PowerShell, SQL, and DAX.
Expertise in building scalable APIs, microservices, and applications.
Solid grasp of database engineering and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of RESTful API design and security best practices.
Familiarity with agile development and AI-powered coding tools.
Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative software solutions - design, code, and maintain APIs, microservices, and applications that connect critical business systems.
Engineer smarter data flows - create and optimize ETL/ELT processes that move, transform, and integrate large datasets across data lakes, warehouses, and reporting platforms.
Solve complex problems - diagnose technical issues, implement effective solutions, and optimize performance for scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders - partner with business teams and IT colleagues to translate requirements into technical solutions that support company goals.
Champion secure development - apply best practices for security, compliance, and data governance to protect sensitive information.
Stay ahead of the curve - explore new technologies, leverage AI tools for efficiency, and bring forward fresh ideas that keep Family Express future-ready.
Document and support growth - maintain clear, accurate technical documentation and contribute to a strong enterprise data governance framework.
