About The Position

The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph) are required.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
  • OR five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.
  • OR an industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
  • Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
  • Proficient performing Linux System Administration
  • Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment
  • Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)
  • Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Accumulo
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containerd)
  • Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
  • Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • AWS Cloud experience

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
  • Generate documentation for the full software stack.
  • Update software for sustainment support.
  • Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
  • Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
