The COOLR program is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the Software Group Lead of our Colorado Springs software development teams. The selected individual will share time between Building 830 and Peterson Space Force to ensure the software and database development teams are on track with the program commitments. In this role the selected individual will serve as a Release Train Engineer for approximately 5 development teams and will ensure accountability for timely, high-quality delivery of ground software/database releases.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading software development activities.
  • Software experience in one or more of: C, C++, Fortran, Perl, Python, Java, ADA
  • Experience with driving schedule cost and technical projects
  • US Citizenship Required.
  • Interim Secret Clearance required to start

Nice To Haves

  • Agile experience (SCRUM Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, etc.)
  • Understanding of financial planning (CAM experience)
  • Team lead experience
  • Oracle Database engineering experience
  • Proven written and oral communications
