As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing innovative software solutions that enhance security systems. You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technology that meets the evolving needs of our customers. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Pittsford, NY location on a Hybrid work schedule. Honeywell's Security and Access Solutions business provides high-value security products and services that are critical for buildings around the globe. Building operators and security teams across dynamically evolving verticals depend on our mobile- and cloud-enabled technologies for access control, intrusion detection, and locking solutions to help create safer and more efficient facilities. You will be joining one of our newest and most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities. As part of the engineering team, you will work in a continuous delivery environment and contribute to features that directly impact our customers daily. You will participate in feature planning and design sessions, implement software solutions, assist with test plans and documentation, and maintain those solutions.
