About The Position

At CSAA Insurance Services, Inc.’s office in Glendale, AZ, the Guidewire Engineering group develops the Guidewire InsuranceSuite capabilities. Serve as a software engineering resource on the Guidewire cloud software as a service platform. Perform hands-on configuration and integrations with Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite, such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or EnterpriseEngage (digital). Deliver secure, stable, and maintainable code in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Work independently on the development team to develop, test and maintain digital applications. Follow all established technical and quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in team design, scoping and prioritization sessions, and provides regular demonstrations of completed work. Stay up-to-date on new technologies and methodologies, and continuously seeks opportunities to expand skills and knowledge. May lead and mentor other team members on a project basis. May work remotely within commuting distance of Glendale, AZ office.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, an Engineering discipline, or related field, and 2 years of hands-on development, configuration and integrations experience with Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite products. Employer will accept as the equivalent a Bachelor’s degree in one of the requisite fields, and 5 years of hands-on development, configuration and integrations experience with Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite products.
  • Requires Specialist or above certification in Guidewire InsuranceSuite products.
  • Experience must include: Configuration and integration of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or EnterpriseEngage (digital); Guidewire Unit Testing and Best Practices; Configuration of Gosu, PCF, Ruleset, Gosu Plugins; Distributed version control systems like GIT; Java; and Databases including SQL and NoSQL
