About The Position

We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Senior Manager in the United States. In this role, you will lead software engineering initiatives supporting regulatory and compliance operations, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of critical reporting and automation workflows. You will manage multiple engineering teams, drive technical strategy, and oversee the development and maintenance of complex data pipelines. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure compliance requirements are met efficiently while mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of innovation. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational velocity and accuracy across a growing portfolio of compliance projects. You will influence the technical direction, oversee execution of critical initiatives, and develop talent while contributing to a high-performing, mission-driven environment. Occasional remote work is supported with the requirement of a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in regulatory or compliance-focused engineering domains.
  • Strong expertise in data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and reporting automation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., APCD, CCW, RXRDS) and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance legal/compliance organizations.
  • Experience coordinating onshore/offshore teams and exception-based workflows.
  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload) for remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams focused on automation, compliance workflows, and regulatory reporting pipelines.
  • Oversee development, maintenance, and validation of reporting processes to meet compliance mandates.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely report delivery.
  • Drive technical strategy for initiatives including file validation, claims processing, and workflow exception handling.
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles to align with compliance deadlines.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Coordinate cross-team efforts, monitor project progress, and resolve technical or operational issues.
