About The Position
The Software Engineering Senior Advisor will play a pivotal role in the Pharmacy Clinical Advancement team, focusing on the development and enhancement of pharmacy practices through powerful and event-driven workflows. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about improving efficiency, accuracy, and stability in Automated Data Processing, particularly in environments where clinical workloads can vary significantly. The advisor will be responsible for building and managing event-driven applications and workflows, with a strong emphasis on serverless computing and event-driven execution. In this role, the advisor will design components using the Java Spring Boot framework, AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and DynamoDB. They will also be tasked with developing coding standards and conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality software development practices. Collaboration is key, as the advisor will work closely with cross-vertical teams, providing technical expertise in Java and AWS cloud technologies. Additionally, the advisor will manage code deployments and will be expected to develop frontend user experiences using the ReactJS framework. This hybrid position requires candidates to be commutable to a client location, with preferred locations including Austin, TX, Morris Plains, NJ, St. Louis, MO, Memphis, TN, and potentially Orlando, FL in the future.
