This consistent, organic growth is why we have a need for a Software Engineering Manager to join us! This role will involve leading talented Software Development teams responsible for the development of our HRIS software. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in software combined with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.

  • Foster an inclusive team culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including CI/CD, code quality, and observability.
  • Responsible for performance management and career development of a team of approximately 10 Software Engineers.
  • Organizing and managing timelines, which includes collaborating with BA, QA and development teams.
  • Actively contributing to code reviews, architecture decisions and process improvements.
  • 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Software engineering background with proven experience leading an engineering team in an Agile environment.
  • A collaborative team mentality and the ability to successfully interface with other managers to solve problems and inspire results.
  • Leading teams using Microsoft Stack (particularly C#) and React.
  • Ability to communicate complex initiatives clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding across teams.
  • Utilize exceptional conflict resolution skills to navigate difficult conversations and foster positive outcomes.
  • Showcase strong emotional intelligence to build rapport, manage relationships, and respond appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Strong self-management skills to be effective with minimal supervision.
