Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition from manual-assisted forecasting to a fully automated, demand generation platform.
• Partner directly with product managers and engineering executives across Google's product areas and Global Infrastructure to align capacity with product roadmaps.
• Own the long-term goal for big data pipelines and statistical modeling systems that decide where billions of dollars in infrastructure investment are placed.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high-velocity execution and technical excellence.
• Bridge the gap between software requirements and physical hardware deployments, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies.
