Embark on a transformative journey as a Software Engineering Lead within our Market Risk Tech Organization. You will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and innovation in investment banking and financial risk management solutions. You will support a team of skilled engineers, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality software that meets multi-layered financial risk requirements. You will also be instrumental in shaping the technical roadmap, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This will ensure alignment between engineering project and strategic business goals.

  • Development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure solutions to fulfill business requirements ensuring measurable reliability, performance, availability, and ease of use.
  • Monitoring of IT infrastructure and system performance to measure, identify, address, and resolve any potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
  • Development and implementation of automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Implementation of a secure configuration and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, and other security threats.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define IT Infrastructure requirements and devise solutions.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities.
  • Experience in Java, Scala/Python, and SQL.
  • Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data warehousing solutions.
  • AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation and others).
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
  • CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Adept knowledge of Scaled Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Prior experience in a risk or finance environment.
