About The Position

Within our Business Services vertical, we offer a multitude of solutions focused on helping businesses of all sizes drive higher revenue growth, maximize operational efficiencies, and improve customer experience. Our solutions help our customers solve difficult problems in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation and Customer Data Management. Our team works across multiple agile software engineering teams, supporting developers, testers, and product owners. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your contributions help shape the architecture and performance of our products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Laravel (v9+) and PHP 8
• Hands-on experience with Laravel Queues, Jobs, and Worker setup
• Proficiency in Python scripting, including building job apps and schedulers
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Comfortable using Linux-based environments and command-line tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with task scheduling tools (e.g., Celery for Python)
• Exposure to monitoring tools and logging best practices
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel 9+ and PHP 8
• Implement and manage Laravel Jobs, Queues, Events, and Listeners
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and background tasks
• Debug, optimize, and refactor both legacy and new code for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that’s easy to understand and maintain
