Our Team, the Modeling and Simulation Contract for Framework and Tools (MASC-F) team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. MASC-F develops and sustains the simulation framework supporting the MDA's test needs. Software Lead to maintain and follow the Software Development Plan.

Requirements

• Must have an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience in full life cycle software development of C++/Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.
• Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
• Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).
• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc.
• Experience using Eclipse to develop software applications.
• Experience using Maven or Gradle.
• Experience using automated unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization.
• Experience with the Objective Simulation Framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor junior software engineers.
• Maintain software baselines and oversee software builds.
• Adjudicate Cybersecurity findings.
• Support design and develop new C++/Java/Web applications; Maintain existing applications.
• Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines.
• Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews.
