About The Position

We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to assist our Software Engineering team with the design and development of leading-edge products for military and space-based applications. Our Summer Engineering Internship Program offers students the opportunity to apply engineering skills in a dynamic and real-world environment. The Software Engineer Internship provides an opportunity to work with the lead engineer responsible for meeting technical requirements.

Requirements

• Majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Studying C++.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university having completed their sophomore year.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintaining a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
• Background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance, which includes US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develops computer software programs for narrowly defined product specifications as part of the product design process.
• Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting product performance specifications that outline specific tasks for each design module.
• Composing computer programs using programming language.
• Testing programs written to ensure that they will perform well under all circumstances.
