About The Position

The position involves developing software for deployed Department of Defense (DoD) Linux systems, focusing on low-level and real-time software, as well as application-specific support services. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during summer 2025.
• U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance.
• Agile software development skills and familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, or similar CI/CD workflows.

Nice To Haves

• Active/current US Government/DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for deployed DoD Linux systems, including low-level and real-time software.
• Create application-specific support services such as logging, GUI, networking, and performance monitoring.
• Develop driver software and interface specifications for external recorders, sensors, and network interfaces.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to test contributions and analyze performance.
• Create and integrate components into a larger system.
