About The Position

The Software Engineering Intern at KLA is designed for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields. This role focuses on coding, designing software, and learning new technologies while working collaboratively in small teams. Interns will translate user needs into software design requirements and develop applications for KLA's next-generation data platform, all under the guidance of a mentor.

Requirements

• Expected college graduation by June 2026 in Computer Science engineering or related branches.
• Academic and/or internship programming experience in one or more languages such as C#, C/C++, Java, Python.
• Good computer science fundamentals and understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming and software design patterns.
• Effective communication and team interaction skills.
• Creative problem-solver who is motivated to learn independently.
• Interest in and ability to learn software technology and KLA domain knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity or experience with Microservices and Full stack software development.
• Experience with .NET core, Angular, Kubernetes, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of computer networks and protocols.
• Experience in building, maintaining, or repairing scientific instruments or other mechanical, electrical, and/or optical systems.
