About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a summer intern pursuing a degree in Software or Computer Engineering. This role involves learning about the Trident program and requires the intern to work 100% on-site in Mitchel Field, New York. Requirements

• College sophomore or junior pursuing a Software or Computer Engineering degree from an accredited college.
• Experience developing and testing software in C/C++/Java/Python through academic projects or professional experience.
• Experience using command line Linux through academic projects or professional experience.
• Experience with processor design and architecture through academic projects or professional experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of the full system/software development life-cycle.
• Experience writing test plans and developing automated tests.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams (Hardware, Software, and Systems).
• Experience with real-time operating systems and applications.
