​​Pegasystems has several exciting internship opportunities to join our Software Engineering team. We are seeking applicants who are bright, technically-minded, and have a strong interest in a career in software development. In the fast-paced, collaborative environment that Pega offers, our Software Engineers are able to quickly develop thoughtful designs and apply innovative technologies to develop the best technical solutions.

Requirements

• Pursuing BS Degree in Computer Science
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and development
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of and/or willingness to work within Scrum Methodology
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, and document features, including the design and development of high-quality software
• Provide technical assistance to advance the capabilities of products and resolve complex issues
• Develop and Test high quality user interface authoring tools using React
• Leverage Java in new and innovative ways to help create Pegasystems' proprietary framework
