About The Position

KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. The Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division provides industry-leading metrology solutions for worldwide semiconductor IC manufacturers, including hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optical critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement systems. These products are essential for the development and implementation of advanced IC processes. The FaST division supports customers from early research and development to high-volume in-line manufacturing and consists of a global team located in the US, Israel, China, and India. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to join the FaST division and contribute to the design and development of next-generation Metrology Tools, working on cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with global teams.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in C# and C++.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design/Programming.
  • Familiarity with multithreading concepts.
  • Experience with WPF GUI design.
  • Knowledge of image processing and pattern matching.
  • Background in OpenCV.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control.
  • Currently pursuing a Master's Level Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Must be within 1 year of graduation.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with robotics.
  • Familiarity with SQL or MongoDB.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-generation Metrology Tools.
  • Participate in creating enhanced emulation of engineering tools to accelerate development processes.
  • Analyze requirements, design, implement, test, and deliver software features.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in the U.S. and overseas.
