About The Position

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for helping deliver mission-critical communication infrastructure as part of Motorola's WAVE product suite. This role is based in Allen, TX. The candidate will work within our diverse team of engineers, developing back-end services and front-end clients. The candidate will also have opportunities to work with and influence engineers within several engineering teams. Contribute to feature development, identifying bug fixes, documentation, and peer reviews.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an allied discipline.
Must have a graduation date on or after December 2026.
Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).

Nice To Haves

Proficient in IoT frameworks Azure and AWS and IoT intergration.
Experience designing and developing both on-prem and cloud-based applications.
Experience working with CI/CD systems.
Passionate about shipping high-quality, secure software to security-conscious customers.
