The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program Job Duties & Responsibilities: To grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be working on one or more projects that work directly with our Commercial Products software engineering team. You will have a mentor to help guide your project and help you find the resources you need. The project(s) vary but are often related to: Working directly with our project teams to develop and test our products.   • Interns must be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program.
  • Majoring in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – focusing on embedded systems or Software Apps (PC, Apple or Android).
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA preferred.
  • At a minimum, you must be entering your sophomore year of college.
  • Programming Experience in C or C# preferred.
  • Strong communication skills

  • A minor in Cybersecurity
  • Python, C++, Visual C programming, JSON, and experience with CAN bus protocol are all beneficial.

  • Competitive Pay – anticipated pay $22.00-$33.00 per hour.
