Requirements

  • Academic Foundation: Currently enrolled in an Engineering Science or Computer Science program, having completed your 3rd year of study.
  • Programming Proficiency: Practical, hands-on knowledge of C++ and C# languages.
  • Methodology Mindset: A solid understanding of modern software development methodologies and version control tools.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A motivated team player with a thirst for learning and the ability to thrive with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience or knowledge regarding software and hardware integration.
  • Prior experience in a diverse, multi-tasking technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Development Lifecycle: Take an active role in all aspects of software development for Trimble Applanix’s premier Post-Processing Software suite.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Dive deep into software debugging, sophisticated data analysis, and the implementation of advanced algorithms.
  • Master Industry Tools: Harness professional development tools including GIT and JIRA to manage code and streamline project workflows.
  • Lead Field Data Initiatives: Drive the collection and organization of critical datasets to validate and improve software performance.
