About The Position
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our team this summer. This internship offers the opportunity to work on real-world engineering problems, contribute to production systems, and collaborate closely with different engineers to understand reliability and QA workflows.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Basic understanding of web development concepts (frontend, backend, APIs, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment and command-line interface
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Ability to critically review code and identify potential issues, including code generated by AI tools
- Strong self-learning ability and willingness to explore unfamiliar technologies
Nice To Haves
- Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building personal or school projects
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Responsibilities
- Assist in improving internal tools and development infrastructure
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and database interactions
- Assist with upgrading the platform to a new infrastructure and improving system reliability
- Review and refine code generated by AI tools to ensure correctness, quality, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the team
