Requirements

  • Student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math or similar degree.
  • Available for up to 40 hours per week.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of the basics of fiber optic cables is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools is an advantage.

Nice To Haves

  • French, German, Spanish language skills.
  • Knowledge of or experience with AI Code Generation agents.

Responsibilities

  • Development of software for embedded test equipment that operates in the telecom environments: fiber optic, Ethernet, PON, RF, WiFi, etc.
  • Adherence to Scrum/Agile methodologies and participation in all scrum events.
  • Design and specification of features.
  • Analysis and solution planning for bug fixes.
  • Code and implementation of features and bug fixes.
  • Manual and Automated test development and execution of unit, system, regression, API and integration tests.
  • Review of peers' work and contributions.
  • Open to working in a fast paced, flexible and high performing team.
