We’re seeking innovative Software Engineering Interns to join our Sterling, VA team for Summer 2026! This internship opportunity is for individuals interested in a broad range of electrical and software engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working both independently and in a team environment, possessing not only academic but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience. The internship will begin in May and last for 12 weeks; you will be expected to work 100% on-site.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Familiarity with software tools should be at a level that is appropriate for your academic level
  • Ability to meet normal demands associated with an office environment
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face

  • Practical software development experience
  • Signal processing knowledge
  • Computer architecture experience
  • Hardware/software test development experience
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience is preferred, not required
