About The Position

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for helping deliver mission-critical communication infrastructure as part of Motorola’s WAVE product suite. This role is based in Allen, TX. The candidate will work within our diverse team of engineers, developing back-end services and front-end clients. The candidate will also have opportunities to work with and influence engineers within several engineering teams. Contribute to feature development, identifying bug fixes, documentation, and peer reviews.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an allied discipline.
• Graduation date on or after December 2026.
• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
• Proficient in IoT frameworks Azure and AWS and IoT integration.
• Experience designing and developing both on-prem and cloud-based applications.
• Experience working with CI/CD systems.
• Passionate about shipping high-quality, secure software to security-conscious customers.

Responsibilities
