You will work with experienced engineers to design, implement, and validate software used in high‑reliability applications.   You will report to the Manager, I&C Safety Software and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • Coursework or project experience in C# or C++
  • Familiarity with Git and modern DevOps tools
  • Basic experience with Power BI or data visualization
  • Interest in safety‑critical, embedded, or industrial control software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software tools and components using C# or C++
  • Support automated testing, simulation, and verification workflows
  • Use Azure DevOps and Git for version control, work tracking, and CI/CD processes
  • Create or enhance Power BI dashboards to visualize metrics and support engineering decisions
  • Participate in structured engineering processes, reviews, and documentation updates related to safety‑critical software development
