As a FlightAware intern, you’ll be a full team member within a highly collaborative, ambitious, and future-reaching organization. This is a full-time internship, scheduled for May/June - August 2026 (approximately 12 weeks).

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Nice To Haves

  • Academic and/or prior work experience with programming languages, including functional languages.
  • Completed coursework in core computer science concepts such as objectoriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • An obsession with writing elegant, high-quality, well-tested code; ideally languages such as Rust, Go, & Python.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, reason, think critically, and synthesize information.
  • Flexible mindset and demonstrated ability to grow skillset and work across a robust and varied technology stack.
