Network Engineering Intern The Network Engineering team is seeking a passionate and motivated intern to join us in person. In this full-time, 12-week internship, you’ll contribute to projects focused on developing tools that automate operational tasks currently handled manually by the Network Operations team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with service provider networks purpose-built for AI.

Requirements

  • Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and the networking stack
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Golang, C/C++, or similar, with a focus on automation
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, along with a fast-learning and adaptable mindset
  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026

Responsibilities

  • Gaining a foundational understanding of production networks and their complexities
  • Learning about common operational challenges faced by Network Operations teams and identifying opportunities for automation
  • Designing and developing tools to streamline network operations
  • Collaborating with the Tools and Observability team to understand how production-scale tools are built and maintained
